Campaign segmentation
Manual segmentation lets you segment leads in a campaign flexibly. This article describes how to add leads to segments through Warehouse, but you can also add leads automatically through Journeys when using this segmentation type.
How to build Manual segments
In the right sidebar, click Settings, then select Campaigns.
Click on the campaign you want to segment.
At the top of the screen, click on the Segments field, and select the Segment Builder option from the dropdown options.
Select the Manual segment type.
Name the segment you want to create.
Click on Save segments to apply the segment type.
How to add leads to the Manual segmentation in Warehouse.
Click on Settings and select Campaigns. Click on the campaign you want to segment. At the top of the screen, click the Segments field and select Manage segments from the dropdown (Alternatively, you can also go to Warehouse Leads and find the campaign by using the filtering option).
Click on the segment you want to add the leads to.
On the right, apply the filters/criteria you want to add to the segment. (F.x. Status = Success to add all the leads saved as success).
To add the leads to the segment, click on Actions.
From the dropdown options, select Update segment action.
Select the segment you want to add the leads to. You can either select leads by ticking them on the left-hand side of the screen or by typing the number of the leads to be affected. To add all leads that meet the criteria, just click Update Segment on leads.
Click Update Segment on leads to add the selected leads when you are done.
11. The selected leads should now be added to the requested segment.
You can repeat the same process with other leads, adding them to the same or other segments. As mentioned earlier, you can also do this through Warehouse -> Leads by following steps 2-11 above.
