Set opening hours for a phone number

How to set at which time of the day and week a phone number should be active

It is an advantage to use opening hours for a phone number, as it indicates the time frame during which the phone number is active. When a phone number is outside of opening hours, it is neither possible to call to nor from it. However, it is possible to play a message or forward the call to another phone number if desired.

If you do not set opening hours for a phone number, it will automatically be possible to call to and from that number at all times.

Opening hours must be set for each individual phone number you use.

How to do it:

  1. Go to Settings in the menu on the left side and select Phone numbers.

  2. Click on the three dots next to the phone number for which you want to set opening hours. Choose Edit settings.

  3. Select the Opening Hours tab. Choose from the drop-down menu whether the phone number should always or never be open, or if you want to create custom user settings.

  4. When creating custom opening hours, you need to set up different things.

a) Select Time zone.

b) Add weekday and time range. If you choose Edit in calendar, you get a calendar view where you can simply mark the time periods when the phone number should be open. Alternatively you can press Add hours for each time interval you want to add It looks like this:





c) Choose whether a message should be played or incoming calls should be forwarded to another phone number outside of opening hours. If you select Play a message, you must then choose an audio file from your library in Adversus or upload a new one. If you choose Forward incoming calls to another phone number, you must provide a valid phone number.

5. Finish by saving your settings.

You can change the opening hours and associated settings for a phone number at any time you wish.
