Please notice: This feature is only available for those subscribing to inbound telephony. Otherwise, you'll have limited inbound search options.
It's only possible to search for inbound leads that are already registered as inbound leads if you have the free version of Adversus Inbound.
If you have the paid version, you can extend your search options and also make a fast search through your leads whenever you receive an inbound call – making it easier to identify who called you. This smoothens your inbound workflows and enhances customer service.
How does inbound search work?
Let’s say you get a call from an existing customer who never called you before. By activating inbound search, you can find the lead by searching for, e.g., name, phone number, customer number, order number, etc. if your lead is willing to provide you with that bit of information while on the phone.
How to set up inbound search
Firstly, you need to define which fields should be searchable on your inbound number.
Go to Settings and choose Campaigns.
Choose a campaign that uses the inbound number you want to set up an Inbound search on.
Scroll down to Inbound. Here you'll find the Inbound search settings.
Now, you need to define which fields you want to use for inbound search and if they should be visible in the dialer. Please note, that you can only use fields that are already defined as fast search fields or insights fields.
You also need to define which contact pools should be searchable. You can choose whether you want all your contact pools to be searchable or narrow it down to specific contact pools. In the example above, we've chosen to let all contact pools be available for search.
After setting up the search fields, the inbound search will come to action in the dialer.
Please note: The settings are tied to the inbound phone number - not the campaign. This means, that whenever you're making changes, these changes will affect all campaigns using the given inbound number.
Advice: If you want to ensure that your inbound search is as fast and flexible as possible, make sure that your search fields are defined as Fast search fields. Read more about Fast search here.
How to search inbound in the dialer
Whenever you get an inbound call, you can now make a search on the the selected fields directly in the dialer.
Click on the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the dialer.
Type what you are searching for in the pop-up window that appears.
