In Adversus, you can create SMS templates to send to leads.
How to create an SMS template
Go to Messages in the left menu and choose Templates.
From Create template in the top right corner, choose SMS template.
At the top, give your SMS template an internal name.
On the right side of the SMS editor, you'll see Details. Here, enter the Sender (numbers and letters) and Recipient (use the phone number merge tag).
Under Settings, you can add Tags to make the template easier to find. Here, you decide whether agents can edit the SMS before sending. You can also choose automated send-out rules, e.g., On success.
Now you can write your SMS message in the text field. You can use the merge tags below the text field to automatically insert information into the SMS that varies from lead to lead.
On the left side, you will find the system-created merge tags that contain information such as when a recall is scheduled, who last spoke to the customer, the consultant's email address, and the like.
On the right, you will find merge tags that insert data from the fields you created on your leads. This is typically information such as the item's name, phone number, email address, and the like. Now you can write your SMS. Use merge tags to customize the SMS to the individual recipient, e.g., Hi [customer name].
In the top right corner, you can see how many characters your SMS can contain.
If it is longer than 160 characters, it will be sent as several SMSs. However, the subject will still receive it as one long SMS, even if it is sent as several, but you will have to pay for several SMS if it exceeds the character limit. It's therefore a good idea to keep your text messages short. Also be aware that the number of characters can vary from send to send when using merge tags.
Under Details, add Sender (can be both numbers and letters) and Recipient (use phone number merge tag!).
Click Save in the top right corner when you are done.
