How to verify additional email addresses

If you need to verify an email address you want to send emails from this is how you do it

To verify an email address you either need to be on an Administrator user, or have the settings permission.

When you create a user with a specific email address that email is automatically verified to send emails from. If you need to send from an email that isn't associated with a user you will need to manually verify it, unless the email address is verified you cannot send emails from it. This article describes how to do that.

Verifying an email address

  1. Go to settings -> Account -> Domains

  2. Click Verify your email

  3. Type in the email address you want to verify and click send confirmation email.

  4. You will receive an email to verify ownership of the email address where you can click the confirmation link. With that your email is verified.

Authenticate your domain

It can be a good idea to authenticate your domain to ensure that emails sent from the domain is recognized as legitimate. To read more about authentication of domain you can read this article: How to authenticate your domain in adversus.
