Contact fields are the fields in which you store your leads' master data, e.g., name, address, phone number, email, url/websites etc. You are able to create custom contact fields depending on your needs, e.g., additional phone field, external lead ID, etc. If you want more information about creating a new contact fields you can find that information in this article.

Designating a contact field as a Result field on a campaign lets the agent add data to leads based on the agents' conversation with them, e.g., the products they want to buy, meeting time or relevant questions they're answering.

Setting up result fields on a campaign

  1. Go to Settings in the menu on the left and choose Campaigns.

  2. Click on the campaign you want to add result fields to or create a new campaign.

  3. Click on Fields in the top menu bar and choose Result fields.

  4. Under Field reference, choose Existing field.

    1. If you need to create a new field for the campaign instead select Create new field and refer to this article for more guidance.

  5. Select your field source, this is the field you want to show in the dialer, such as displaying the Lead's name, phone number, or email address. The Content type is already set on existing contact fields so you don't need to touch that.

  6. Input type, here you can choose how you want your agents to input the data in the field.

    1. Normal text, is a small text field they can write in.

    2. Large text, is a larger text field they can write in.

    3. Dropdown, lets you create options you want the agents to pick between in a dropdown menu, so they don't have to write anything themselves.

    4. Dropdown (API), This is specialized for API usage, it lets you give the dropdown options one name that the agents can see and choose, while a second name (or value) is selected on the back end for use by an API.

    5. Datetime picker, if your field is a Date time Field you can select the datetime picker option to let them pick the date time from a small calendar window.

  7. Decide when the field should be shown to agents in the dialer, e.g., Always, Based on Field data, or Based on lead status.

    1. Always means the field is always shown.

    2. Based on field data lets you keep the field hidden unless a specific requirement is met. You can also change the equal sign to not equal to show the field when something is not selected. Or in to assign multiple valid values. This could be something like only showing the leads address if their zip code is one where you do physical meetings at the leads address.

    3. Based on Lead Status, makes the data hidden unless a specific status is selected. You can change the equal sign to not equal or in as described above as well.

  8. Choose if the field should be Required: Never, Always, Based on field data or Based on lead status. This functions in the same way as the option for then a lead should be shown. Only difference is that if a field is required it must be filled with valid data before it is possible to save the lead.

  9. If you have selected an address field you also get an option to select Address autocomplete method.

    1. None, you just write the address manually

    2. Google Maps API, this checks the address you write against Google Maps adresses.

    3. DAWA (Danis addresses only), this only recognizes Danish adresses.

    4. Address selector, this lets you write out the address and then select from a list of recognized addresses.

  10. Click Add field in the bottom. The lead field is now active on the campaign. You can edit/remove the field in the overview on the right side by clicking the little pencil or X to the right of the the field.
