To access these settings you either need to be on an Admin user, or have the campaign administration permission.
The Message part of the campaign segments deal mostly with giving your agents the ability to send email and SMS messages directly to the leads while in the dialer. This is a great way to send confirmation emails to a lead while talking with them, or otherwise communicate in writing to the lead while on the phone with them.
Email templates
Email templates are prewritten emails you have prepared so that your agents can send them out quickly when they are needed. You can read about how to create an email template in the Create an email template article.
When you have created the email templates you can go to the campaign settings -> messages section to select what email templates you want to be available on the campaign.
You click the Select template box in the top right to select what templates you want to be available. The templates you select are pickable by using the Send email button in the dialer.
When you have selected the templates you can see in the list which ones are selected, as well as information about email subject, sender receiver and more. Most importantly perhaps is the Automatic column, this column shows if the email is set to be sent automatically and in what cases it will be sent.
The X means the email template will not automatically send, the template is just available to send through the dialer.
The green S icon means the email will send automatically on saving the lead as a success.
The blue M means the email is sent when a lead is saved at max contact attempts.
The red N means the email is sent when a lead is saved as Not interested.
SMS templates
SMS templates, like the email templates described above, are prewritten SMS messages prepared so your agents can send them out quickly when needed. You can read about how to create an SMS template in the Create an SMS template article.
You can again here see the columns with information and the Automatic column show if the SMS templates are set to send automatically.
The X means the SMS template will not automatically send, the template is just available to send through the dialer.
The green S icon means the SMS will send automatically on saving the lead as a success.
The blue M means the SMS is sent when a lead is saved at max contact attempts.
The red N means the SMS is sent when a lead is saved as Not interested.
Note: There is a price per SMS sent through Adversus, so be careful about setting SMS templates to send automatically.
Voicemails
The voice mails is a function to set up audio files to play when encountering a voicemail while calling. The intended use is to let your agent's simply select what message they want to leave on the lead's voicemail and then move on to the next lead.
You simply click the select voicemail dropdown and select the voicemail you have uploaded. To upload a new voicemail go to Messages -> Templates -> Create template -> Voicemail template. There you simply upload the audio file you want to use and name the voicemail template.
When you have created a voicemail template and added it to the campaign a dropdown called Automatic Voicemail shows up in the dialer right above the notes field. When an agent encounters a voicemail they simply select the Voicemail template they want to leave, and then close the lead with the Answering machine (aut. callback) button. Then the system will leave the audio file on the answering machine while the agent can move on to their next lead.
SMS reminders
The SMS reminder system is for creating SMS reminders to get automatically sent out to customers when a booking is made.
To create an SMS reminder simply click the Create new reminder button, this will take you to a small page where you can write the SMS reminder you want to send.
You can use mergetags to make sure the SMS gets sent from the phone number you want and to the correct lead phone number.
When you have written the DMD reminder you want to send you can click over to settings and decide when you want the reminder to get sent.
You can choose between a specific time on the same day, 1, or 2 days before the booking. You also have the option to select Specific number of hours before in which case you select a number of hours from 1 to 72, and the SMS gets sent that number of hours before the meeting.
