Campaign settings - Segmentation

Segment your leads to let you control who is contacted at what times

Written by Simon (DK)

Segmentation is a part of the campaign settings that has a lot of different versions and options, so the segmentation actually has a lot of articles already. This article is mostly for the sake of completeness in the campaign setting collection, and it will mostly just point you towards the full articles about different segmentation settings.

Segment builder

Segments builder is where you go to build the segment in the first place and the guide on how to use it to build your segments can be found here in the Segment builder article.

Segment types

There are 4 different segment types.

Contact data

These segments are based on the data that is registered on the specific leads. It has a full article explaining it here.

Import

The import segmentation quite simply creates a segment for every import of new leads that is made to the campaign. It doesn't have its own article because there isn't really anything more to it.

User

User type segmention lets you add leads to a segment only accessible by one specific user, you can read more about it in this article.

Manual

The last segment is the manual segment where you manually add leads to the segments as you see fit. For the full explanation about it you can read this article.

Manage campaign segments

When you have created your segments you can go into manage segments to pause, active and otherwise control access to your segments. The full explanation of what you can do can be found in the Manage campaign segments article.
