To access and change the fields on a campaign you need to either have Admin rights or have the Campaign administration permission.
Fields are a cornerstone of a good campaign, you need the correct Lead fields so your agent's have the information they need, the right result fields so they can register the relevant information from their calls, and maybe some campaign fields to better filter between campaigns.
Lead fields
We have a whole article about how to set up lead fields on your campaign that you can read here: Using a field as a lead field.
So instead we will talk about what lead fields are good for here and what you need to be aware of when you select your lead fields.
All the fields you select to be Lead fields on a campaign are shown on the left side of the dialer. Typically the chosen lead fields will be fields with information about the lead that is relevant for the dialer to have access to. This can be something as general as the Leads name, address and phone number. To very campaign specific information, such as their current provider of a service, the amount of people in the household or what industry a company lead is a part of.
The most important thing to include in the lead fields is a phone number field, when you create fields you can select their field type (you can read more about that here), and when you add a phone number field as a Lead Field that lets the dialer automatically grab the phone number to call.
If you don't have any phone number fields in the Lead fields your agents will have to manually write the phone number in the dialer, which is far from optimal. If you have multiple phone number fields as lead fields the dialer will automatically pick the phone number field that is placed highest in the Lead field list.
Result fields
We have a whole article about how to set up Result fields on your campaign that you can read here: Using a field as a result field.
So instead we will talk about what result fields are good for here and what you need to be aware of when you select your result fields.
All result fields you set up on a campaign are shown on the right side of the dialer. Here they share screen space with the status picker, the save lead button, the note field and widgets like meeting booker and send emails. As those associations indicate the result fields are intended to be used for inputting new information during or after a call with a lead.
Usually the fields placed here are fields for information like what products a lead has agreed to purchase, up sale opportunities, and practical information that might be relevant for the consultants a meeting is booked to.
It is important to note that if you overwrite any information in a field here, it will delete the existing information and replace it with the new information.
Result field Widgets
The Widgets you can place in the result fields are not actual fields, but they are extremely useful and gives your agent's extra options in the dialer. There are 5 different widget and you can select them by clicking in the Field type and selecting the relevant widget.
Calendar
This works with the booking settings to let you book meetings directly into the integrated calendars of the assigned calendar users. You get to decide if this calendar should be shown, or even if a booking should be required, based on a few different things.
Always means the field is always shown.
Based on field data lets you keep the calendar hidden unless a specific requirement is met. You can also change the equal sign to not equal to show the field when something is not selected. Or in to assign multiple valid values. This could be something like only showing the calendar if their zip code is one where you do physical meetings at the leads address.
Based on Lead Status, makes the calendar hidden unless a specific status is selected, or making it required if they select success. You can change the equal sign to not equal or in as described above as well.
Show meeting in dialer, if you select this option the dialer shows information about any existing bookings already made on the lead in the dialer.
Show booking notification, makes the system give a notification if no booking is made on a lead being saved as 'Success', or 'Success' is not selected when a booking is made.
For more information about how to set up the booking settings you can read this article.
Button
The button widget lets you create, well, a button.
You select when to show it in the same way as described for the Calendar widget above.
You select what text to show on the button.
Then you select a URL for the button, so that pushing the button can open a new website or something similar.
Then you select if the request when you push the button should be a POST or a GET request. Most times this will be a GET request as it will let you open a new site. Very few POST requests are advisable to do with the button, it is usually better to set up a journey if you need to run a post request as they tend to require a request body which you can't make with this button widget.
Finally the theme is simply the color of the button.
Journey
Journey lets you select at Manual - Lead journey to run when you push a button in the dialer. Journeys are our automation flow and so a journey can be made to do a wide variety of things. It can activate API connections, update lead information, send emails and many other things. You can read more about creating journeys here: Set up a journey.
When you set a journey here you also select the Text of the button to activate it, theme of the button which decides it color and when it should be shown in the same way as described for the Calendar widget above.
Products
This is our last widget, it ties into the product system of Adversus where you can create products and keep track of sales directly through Adversus. The option simply lets you add the widget and control when it should be shown in the same way as described for the Calendar widget above.
The products are controlled from Settings -> Products.
And which products you want available on the campaign is controlled in Settings -> Sales.
You can read more about how to set up the products in this article.
Campaign fields
Campaign fields are fields that are created in Settings -> Account -> Fields -> Campaign fields, by clicking the plus button, naming the field and deciding if it should be a string (text) or a number field.
These are NOT contact fields, they are fields specifically for campaigns. By going into a campaign setting -> Fields -> Campaign fields you can insert values into the campaign fields and click submit.
When data has been submitted to the campaign fields that can be used to run specific journeys only on campaigns with the right values in the campaign fields. This can be really useful if you have a bunch of journeys that need to be treated similar, such as a bunch of campaigns regarding energy sales. By setting up a campaign field with the "energy" value you can make sure that any new energy campaigns you add also run the journey just by making sure to include the "energy" value in the campaign field.
